Welcome to andybondurant's Substack!
Hello!
I’m new to Substack, but I’m not new to writing. I’ve been blogging, emailing, and connecting to people via the written word for over a decade. On top of that, I’ve been in Christian ministry for over 25 years. Let me give you a feel for what I believe and what you’ll find here.
1. I believe…
God wants to connect with you. Even more important, whether you know it or not, is that you want to connect to God. It is within us to search for something bigger than ourselves. It’s why we change jobs, join teams, and begin families. All great things and all pointing to something greater in the world we live in.
These seem to direct us to a God who wants nothing more than a relationship with you.
But knowing God is hard, right?
2. Connecting to God is easier than most people believe.
Over the past few years, I’ve found myself writing more and more about how to have a relationship with this God who wants to connect and what it looks like when you do.
Are you curious how to do this? I’d love to show you.
3. Join my weekly newsletter.
Each week, you’ll receive an email with tips and tricks on connecting to God (through his son, Jesus). These may be things you’ve heard before, but it will be in a way you can understand and apply to your life today.
If you haven’t already, just click the button below to join this free newsletter.
4. We’re more successful together.
One of the most important ways I grow in my connection and understanding of God is not doing it alone. The easiest way to do this is through a church, but I know finding the right church is hard.
What if you grabbed a few of your current friends who are interested in learning how to connect with God, too? Share this with a friend, and see what you learn together (probably more and better than what I share).
5. Excited and Nervous
I don’t know about you, but I am always nervous about starting new projects. It’s a nervous excitement. I’m excited to share this new format with you, but I always wonder if anyone will accompany me.
I hope you come along. Let’s learn and grow together about our understanding of God.
