Over the last few weeks and the beginning of 2024, I’ve dedicated the time and space of this Substack newsletter to the Word of the Year project. If you have missed any of those, they are available below.
An idea and goal in that timeframe has been to meet with those interested in applying some of that information to your life. So tonight (7PM CST), I am holding my first meet-up to learn more about the Word of the Year and find like-minded people to whom you can hold yourself accountable for following the steps to learn from your Word in 2025.
This gathering is entirely virtual so that anyone can attend. The meeting will last no longer than one hour. I will teach a few of the principles I’ve shared on this blog and share a few new anecdotes. Then, I will open it up for you to share your Word, what you hope to learn this year, and ask questions.

Transparently, I’m really nervous about this. My biggest fear is no one shows up (no one likes the feeling of rejection). I understand the Word of the Year isn’t for everyone; we all have a lot on our plates, and this might be another thing to do.
